Lifestyle Enrichment Programs

Lifestyle Enrichment Program registration for the Summer will open on Thursday, June 1st. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. A waitlist option will be offered if the maximum participant level is reached.

Monday Mutt Walks

June 5th & 19th | 9:00am - 9:45am

FREE, Register/Cancel by June 4th & 18th!

Join our staff & an adoptable pooch from Iredell County Animal Services for a walk on the greenway & potentially find your new forever friend! There is limited space on each date, pre-registration is required. No personal pets allowed. We'll meet at the front entrance of the Iredell County Recreation Center!

Let's Get Crafty

June 8th | 1:00pm - 2:00pm

$5, Register/Cancel by June 7th!

Need a creative outlet? This program is for you! This summer, we'll get crafty with fun & simple projects. For June, we'll create pressed flower mini-glass lanterns.

Garden Art

June 13th | 1:00pm - 2:00pm

$5, Register/Cancel by June 12th!

Give your garden or indoor plants some pizazz with art created by you! For June, we'll paint a ceramic mushroom!

Sip N' Paint

June 21st | 1:00pm - 3:00pm

$14, Register/Cancel by June 20th!

Create your very own masterpiece while sipping a glass of sparkling juice! No experience is necessary as this will be a step-by-step instructor led program. We'll provide all supplies & use acrylic paint as our medium. Wear clothes that can get messy, but aprons will be provided. For June, we'll paint a Summer Birdhouse theme on canvas!

Date with Nature

June 27th | 1:00pm - 2:00pm

$5, Register/Cancel by June 26th!

Mark your calendars for your "date" with nature. Learn about our local wildlife, receive an information packet, & participate in activities related to the topic. This month, we will discover how to attract pollinators! Participants will receive a pollinator plant & make a butterfly/bee watering dish.

Book Club

June 29th | 1:15pm - 2:15pm

FREE, Registration is required!

In partnership with the Iredell County Public Libraries, we'll host a monthly book club. We'll meet the last Thursday each month to discuss the selected book. Starting in June, we will meet at Your Coffee House in Troutman.

A Quilled Creation

June 30th | 1:00pm - 2:00pm

$5, Register/Cancel by June 29th!

Quilling is an art form that involves using strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, & glued together to create decorative designs. For June, we will create a sea turtle card!
